Radio in Times of Crisis

In times of crisis and emergency, radio can be a savior.

Radio is a key medium when a crisis hits - radio stations are quick to react, they can reach a wide audience, and the devices are portable.

Due to climate change, natural disasters are projected to become more common, and terrestrial radio distribution has proven resilience in war, flooding, storms, earthquakes, and fire.

Download this report to dig deeper into why radio is important and why public service media radio is particularly essential in such times; due to high trust association and its ability to target regional/local audiences while providing many different minority languages so everyone can be reached.
