Media sector comes together on the Digital Services Act: new joint statement

The Digital Services Act is of high importance to the media sector. We support its aim to create a safer, fairer, and more transparent online environment. The final Act must have a tangible positive influence on the sustainable future of media in the online environment. Organizations from across the media landscape have come together to produce a joint statement in which we advocate for targeted amendments to the DSA proposal, in no particular order of importance, to ensure that the DSA reflects the significant influence of global online platforms on access to content and information, on opinion-making and on the creative ecosystem.
