How to balance Opera recording for radio broadcast - Part 2


Multiple sound balancing techniques are used when recording and broadcasting operas, two very specialized fields. Who are the skillful sound engineers behind the recordings produced by EBU Members at some of the most prestigious opera houses in the world? How do they work? After a first session in November 2021 dedicated to this topic (watch Part 1), in this second session listen to sound engineers who operate at the Opéra Bastille in Paris, the Metropolitan Opera in New York and la Scala in Milan.
