‘Loud and Clear’ - The Prix Italia Returns to Torino

Entries are now open for the Prix Italia, the renowned international competition celebrating the best in radio, TV, and digital productions from around the world.

Set to return to Torino after 7 years, the competition will be hosted in collaboration with the Municipality of Torino and the Piedmont Region. The RAI Production Centre will serve as the festival hub, offering live performances and exhibitions across various city locations. Radio will play a central role, with live podcasts and discussions planned on the future of audio in a digital age.

This special edition of the Prix Italia coincides with "Rai70/100", celebrating the 100th anniversary of radio and the 70th anniversary of television, and will showcase the best of broadcasting excellence in a city rich with media heritage.

The theme, "Loud and Clear," honours this anniversary and the pioneering spirit of Italian inventor and engineer Guglielmo Marconi, whose innovations revolutionized broadcasting.

The EBU has an enduring partnership with the Prix Italia, a flagship event that continues to enrich the broadcasting landscape and promote extraordinary productions across Europe and beyond.

The competition invites entries from 12 March - 7 June, across 9 categories in radio/podcast, video, and digital sections, with the main event taking place 1-4 October 2024. For more information and submissions, visit the official Prix Italia website.
