The Council of Public TV and Radio has elected Garegin Khumaryan as the new Executive Director of the Public Radio of Armenia.

Born in 1983, Garegin graduated from the Russian-Armenian University and, after serving in the armed forces, went on to work in journalism. He is a member of the Union of Journalists of Armenia and previously worked as director of the Lratvakan Radio programme.
