Eagerly awaited by radio listeners every year, this series of highly concentrated live events from 11 June to 9 September offers classical music-lovers around 350 concerts and operas from all over Europe, showcasing such famous names as Bayreuth, the BBC Proms and the Salzburg Festival, not to mention the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Aix-en-Provence and Verbier.

There is also new fare to be discovered, such as a song recital from the Smetana House by the up-and-coming Czech bass-baritone Adam Plachetka, the complete keyboard sonatas of Domenico Scarlatti by Frédérick Haas from the Radio France-Montpellier Festival, or the Arvo Pärt Days in Tallinn, entirely devoted to the music of the iconic Estonian composer.

Like every year, the EBU is benefiting from the assistance of engineers from Member organizations to aid in the technical coordination of these concerts:

2-22 July: Mr Franc Kuplen (SIRTVS)
23 July-19 August: Mr Álvaro Rubalcalba (ESRTVE)
20 August-9 September: Mr Björn Malmqvist (SESR)
