BNR Academy sees 4th intake of journalists graduate

Bulgarian National Radio's training centre has seen its fourth intake of 12 journalists, taught entirely by the broadcaster's in-house trainers, graduate this month. The BNR Academy was set up in 2014 with the aid of the Eurovision Academy.

The ceremony took place on 19 May at BNR and was chaired by Program Director Mr. Martin Minkov.

In his speech, Minkov said that being part of the final jury of the master class in radio journalism gave him an opportunity to acquire an excellent impression of the BNR Academy training concept and its positive results. He also congratulated the graduates and wished them further professional achievements.

The 12 graduates – young reporters, editors and programme hosts came from several BNR channels – the national channels Horizont and Hristo Botev, the regional ones - Radio Sofia, Radio Plovdiv, Radio Varna, Radio Blagoevgrad and Radio Kardjali, as well as the internet radio Binar.
