VRT invited fellow EBU Members to a two-day workshop in Brussels last week to exchange ideas around new broadcaster facilities. The Belgian PSM organization will soon begin construction of its new headquarters, a landmark building that will house its entire staff.

The workshop, organized in conjunction with the EBU, brought together participants from across Europe and beyond. Plenary sessions were treated to thought-provoking keynotes by noted neuropsychiatrist Prof Dr Theo Compernolle and Wim Pullen of the Centre for People and Buildings at TU Delft.

Participants could choose from two themed breakout streams, one looking looking at Inspiring Workplaces and a second focused on technical aspects of new media facilities.
