Eurovision celebrates first anniversary of Dubai office

Eurovision is celebrating the first anniversary of its business hub in Dubai which opened last year to support activities in the region.

The opening of the Eurovision office in the Dubai Media City represents part of the EBU’s strategy to be a global leader in media solutions and to engage with new players and develop activities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

“We’re making progress on all fronts to expand our Eurovision business activities in the region and create new opportunities for investment. At the same time, we are identifying new markets and areas where we see a gap to be filled for customers in the region,” said Jorge Simao, Eurovision Middle East Bureau Chief.

Anas Athamneh recently joined the Dubai office as Marketing & Business Development Manager. His previous experience as a senior production and operations expert will no doubt help the team to promote and cross-sell existing services as well to help expand the current portfolio in the MENA region.

“We’re happy to have Anas in the team and look forward to an exciting and productive year.” Jorge added.

Eurovision will be at CABSAT 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre later this month. Appointments with our experts can be pre-booked or people can drop by the stand on the day (Stand E4-20).
