Folk Producers

The Folk Producers community strives to promote and showcase folk music-related content and exchanges between radio organizations. Its role is to facilitate the sharing of folk and traditional music concerts and programmes, presenting the diversity of European musical culture and playing an important role in enhancing the popularity of folk and traditional music. This helps to highlight the uniqueness of public service broadcasting.

It has established a fruitful partnership with the Rudolstadt Festival (Germany), one of the top folk music festivals in Europe, which attracts up to 25,000 people daily. The event hosts the Euroradio Folk Festival, which showcases the best European acts selected by EBU radio organizations.

The community also produces annual series such as the Folk Music Christmas, and the Folk Music Easter and Spring Projects.
