The EBU has extended the deadline for companies wishing to apply to provide supporting services for the Eurovision Family of Events.

Interested bidders now have until 18 December to submit their proposals.

An invitation to tender for IT, web and communications services for the Eurovision Song Contest, Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovision Young Musicians and Eurovision Young Dancers was issued on 16 October.

"We want the best candidates to apply and we want to give them the time to prepare well," said the EBU's Head of Live Events Jon Ola Sand.

"It's important to have a broad field of candidates to choose from. These are four key EBU co-productions and we want the best in the business on board to help us build on their current success," he added.

The new timeframe allows interested companies to send enquires about the tender until 16 November. All bids then have to be submitted by 18 December.

Selected bidders will be notified in January and asked to present their proposals at the EBU in Geneva the same month.

More information can be found in the PDF at the side of the page. Questions about the tender can be sent to vulliez@ebu.ch. The original invitation to tender document can be found here.
