EBU Lessons from Lockdown: Exploring Sport Broadcasting

02 June 2020

How have public service media adapted to broadcasting sport content when there are no live sports due to #COVID19? What lessons have we learned, and how can we plan for a return to live sport?

In this 2nd episode of our new series, EBU Lessons from Lockdown, the new Director of Eurovision Sport Glen Killane is joined by Barbara Slater (BBC), Panu Pokkinen (Yle), and Dàvid Székely (MTVA) to discuss the challenges and opportunties presented by the current crisis.

Together they discuss innovative programming ideas, how they have have made full use of the rich sport archive and the challenges of broadcasting sport with strict social distancing measures still in place.
