The 30th edition of the Eurosonic Festival, the European showcase for emerging bands and artists, will once again enjoy the unique input of Euroradio Members. No less than 27 EBU Radio Stations will be supporting 31 Acts to perform at the event. The Festival will take place on 13-15 January in the lively city of Groningen, Netherlands.

"This event offers a truly unique platform for up-and-coming bands and artists, and we are proud that Euroradio is at the heart of it," said Laurent Marceau EBU Manager of Eurosonic. "Thanks to a special international collaboration, all the concerts will be made available on all platforms, offering European audiences unique access to the sounds of these emerging talents. Roll on Groningen!"

The Chair of the Euroradio Eurosonic Group Hervé Riesen from Radio France added: “All the Public Service Broadcasters involved believe that there is a great deal of great music coming from all corners of Europe these days. Over the years this Festival has launched the careers of artists and bands such as Franz Ferdinand, Phoenix, First Aid Kit, Agnes Obel, Selah Sue, Ewert & The Two Dragons, Jake Bugg and so many others!”
