EBU Knowledge Exchange 2015: Full programme now available
Networking at last year's EBU Knowledge Exchange in Stockholm

The EBU is excited to announce that the full programme for this year's Knowledge Exchange in Geneva (14 - 15 September) is now available on the event website. EBU Members wishing to participate in this unique event are encouraged to register soon, as spaces are limited and the event is filling up fast.

Keynote speaker Dr Gregory Lowe, professor of Media Management at the University of Tampere and former Senior Advisor for Corporate Strategy and Development at Finnish EBU Member YLE will open the event with a thought-provoking message, challenging ideas about value in relation to public service media (PSM).

Attendees will hear from 11 speakers from 7 different countries, including several invitees from outside the media sector. They will share their challenges and success stories, showcasing how their organisation has approached the task of demonstrating the value they provide to citizens.

The first day will end with a panel discussion made up of EBU Members and other experts, who will debate how the ideas explored during the event can be applied to PSM organisations, and what challenges they may expect to face.

For the first time, this year’s event will include a second day of workshops exclusively for EBU Members. ARD (Germany), VRT (Belgium) and ORF (Austria) will report on how they assess their value, leading to a group discussion about the benefits and challenges of measuring PSM Contribution to Society.

The event will finish with the presentation of the value assessment methodology prepared by the Media Intelligence Service.

For more details on how to register for the event visit the 2015 Knowledge Exchange webpage here.
