EBU Knowledge Exchange 2014

Reaching Young Audiences: The Fragmented Media Landscape as an Opportunity for Public Service Media.

The EBU Knowledge Exchange brings together EBU Members, media professionals and communication scholars, presenting a unique opportunity for ideas sharing and fostering new collaborative partnerships; building a bridge between the worlds of academia and media.

In this 2014 edition, the conference focused on the effects of media fragmentation and the growing multiplicity of content and services on the behaviour of young audiences. The aim was to explore the opportunities for public service media to reach young people and remain a relevant point of reference in this changing media landscape.

TARGET AUDIENCE

  • EBU Members, particularly audience researchers and media strategists
  • Media and communications scholars
  • Other media professionals in fields relevant to the event theme
